Claire Calhoun
New Life Communications was founded in 2011 by Claire Calhoun. After many years in the agency world and on the client side, Claire had developed relationships with a very talented group of professionals. This group became a team and a cooperative freelance agency was born. New Life is able to provide very personalized service at a much more affordable price, due a low overhead model.
Claire has over 20 years of marketing experience across a variety of industries with a special focus on public relations. After spending five years in the automotive field, Claire has a passion for the industry and a rare insight into how to motive automotive customers. Claire's favorite projects involve small businesses and not-for-profit clients.
In addition to consulting, Claire teaches media, public relations and advertising classes at Coastal Carolina University. She is a Charter Member of the Women in Automotive Organization and a Board Member of the Pediatric Autoimmune Encephalitis Kids Association of South Carolina. She volunteers at her local church and as a youth soccer coach. Claire has a bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University and a master's degree from the University of Tennessee both in Communication. She has published articles in Auto Success and FixedOps Magazines in addition to many automotive blogs.
